Singapore River Festival to be held in June instead of September

The annual Singapore River Festival will now be held in June instead of September. The Singapore Tourism Board said this is to reach out to travellers and families with children during the holiday break.
30 per cent more establishments are taking part this year.
And for the first time, stakeholders — Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, Empress Place and Robertson Quay have come together to present more parties and entertainment events.
Highlights include a romantic dance musical set by the river, aerial performances and dining promotions that go late into the night.
STB said last year, over 180,000 people visited the river during the festival.
